Cleveland: Brandywine Falls

One of the last days in Cleveland, we headed out to the Cuyahoga Valley National Park to visit Brandywine Falls.

It's a pretty long walk to get down to the falls from the parking lot, but there are beautiful sights to see the entire way. It's also an easy walk, the entire thing is a wooden walkway, so no worrying about off-roading.

My grandpa came with us on this trip, but he wasn't feeling confident about walking the steep staircase that lead down to the falls, so my dad stayed with him on the upper path.

The falls were really beautiful to see. You really get a nice, up close view thanks to the small platform at the end of the boardwalk.

We didn't stay there too long, since it was pretty warm out that day and we were heading out for a farewell dinner that night.

This post wraps up our Cleveland trip. We're looking forward to moving to Pittsburgh to be able to see more sights in the area. There's definitely loads more to check out!

  1. Those are some great shots as always! To me, waterfalls are always fascinating to see, probably because we don't have many around here. I could sit and watch the water run down the falls for quite a while.
