Sunset in Amelia Park

Last night, I asked Adam if I could tag along with him to the Amelia Park hockey rink in Westfield. You wouldn't think it based on the fact that it's a hockey arena, but they have a rather large and very pretty garden there called Amelia's Garden. I've only ever seen the garden with all its summer blooms and I wanted to see what it looked like in the spring.

I even got the chance to take a self portrait (side note: manual focusing on just the right spot is hard!).

I got kicked out of the park at about 7:30 PM when someone came to close it up for the night. While there weren't many different types of flowers in bloom, it was still a great place to visit.

  1. Those are some great looking flowers! I like the shots with the sun in them. And I like your self portrait, too.

    1. Thanks Heidi! :) I hope you guys get some sun (and warmth) out there. We're supposed to get rain for all of next week. Gotta get my outdoor shots in while I still can. Haha.
