I mean, I see it all the time...and as I grow older I can appreciate a bit more how sometimes marriage isn't about true love...esp when children are involved.

But that is why I find myself a 31 year old bachelor. I want to be with someone...I want a family. But I can't imagine myself being committed to someone who is not only my best friend, but my soul mate...who inspires me in every single possible avenue of life, through mental physical and emotional things.

I've come close a few times, but there's always something missing...and I don't want to settle.

So...my point is...congrats! I am truly happy to see some of these REAL fairytale connections do happen. The next 4 months will be hard on you, but you have him still...and you have friends...to distract you. Good luck!Hector A Phttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16283217777277378566noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3475907290430631072.post-23060965944016929432012-08-16T10:56:44.477-04:002012-08-16T10:56:44.477-04:00Thanks Steve. The longest we've been apart is about 3 months back when I graduated from college and we had basically just started dating. This is going to be an interesting experience. I've got to find some hobbies to take up my time! :)Kristin + Adamhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17847643801172201814noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3475907290430631072.post-59701982930310759862012-08-15T10:08:40.491-04:002012-08-15T10:08:40.491-04:00No, there is nothing cheesy at all about marrying ...No, there is nothing cheesy at all about marrying your best friend. I think those are the marriages that work out the best. And if you keep your spouse as your best friend as time goes on, it gets even better.

I hope your time apart goes by quickly and smoothly. I know that will be difficult. The longest we have been apart in 19 years is five days. And even that short time can end up seeming long. Hang in there!

Happy anniversary to you both! Hope you have many, many more!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10313431785074689859noreply@blogger.com
